It’s TIME TO MEET TESSA

It’s been 2 1/2 years since Tessa met her siblings at the Rainbow Bridge. She was my loyal furchild for 14 years since adopting her and her sister Sophie (whom we lost at age 5 due to diabetes complications) right befoore their 4th birthday. Tessa was a Christmas puppy, born December 28th 2006. She was a happy timid girls who loved life, hated walks and enjoyed disembowling any squeeky toy she could get her jaws on.

She was my constant girl, always by my side 24/7. It’s been difficult for me to talk about her. You always seem to have that one animal that steals your heart so hard that when you lose them it rips your heart out and goes with them. That was Tessa. I started buidling her book legacy back in 2018. I knew I had to do something that would always keep her alive. So I spoke with my cover artists and we began creating covers for Tessa. But even then, I couldnt bring myself to write those books, because knowing that I would one day lose her, it would only bring her ending closer.

It’s taken me this long to finally sit down and start her books. It’s time to start healing and always have something out there for others to enjoy as much as I loved having her by my side all those years. So I am introducing you to Tessa as she solves many mysteries to come and shares her life in the many romance novels I have created for her. I hope you will share in this amazing journey and legacy to celebrate her life with me.

A cozy candle shop. A small Vermont town. A Thursday night class that feels like family.

And then one February morning everything changes.

Hannah Douglas thought she knew her neighbors. Her dachshund Tessa knew better.

TESSA’S NOSE FOR TROUBLE

If you love small-town mysteries, slow-burn romance, and a dog who is always the smartest one in the room, this one is for you.
